I had those both on my app recently and I looked yesterday and today and then online today and both are now NOT considered Recalls but are now under the heading CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAMS (and it shows 0 recalls). Both are listed there.
Mine does not show up in the FordPass app either. I bought my esp from the dealer when I purchased new in 5/19. I asked about this not showing up in the app a year ago and they said it would show up when my normal warranty runs out. Not really reassuring but that's why we keep the paperwork.
They aren't the same if there's no opening. I didn't care about comparing the bench because I wanted the opening for my dogs to move freely back and forth from 2nd to 3rd row and the separation of my kids. It worked great in my old suburban and I wanted it again. Again, my needs and wants were...
Yikes, so now I'm a snooty guy that belongs on Rich Housewives...? Don't be fooled by my sweet hair, jacket, and awesome mustache. I just liken it back to being a kid in 1970's and 80's vehicles that had bench seats all over. Now vehicles offer captains chairs. Why is that? And to me bench...
I guess I'm in the minority but I have the captains chairs and love the flexibility. I am also just not a fan of bench seats (equals cheap to me).
We have 2 dogs and 2 kids (10 and 14) when we travel and one of the dogs is a 110 lb German Shepherd. I have 1 kid in 3rd row and 1 in 2nd row...
I have the same lettering on the same color platinum and have had it on for over a year in MN climate and gas station car washes and it's stood up well. No complaints. Go for it!
I'm not a pro by any chance but I plasti-dipped my chevy bowtie's (much smaller project obv) on my old suburban and I did about 3 coats after letting each one dry and it never came off or had any issues. And that went through gas station car washes all the time. I was impressed for sure. I'm...
I have this issue too from my driver's side and was checking in to see if there was a TSB yet or enough notes to make it a clear fix. Very annoying for NOT a 1988 vehicle. Then this old Bubb Rubb gem popped into my brain again. "the whistles go wooo"
A HUGE miss by Ford in my opinion. Chevy, GMC, Caddy have like 8 wheel options that they offer AND charge $2,995 for the wheel choice. When I was looking for mine in 2019 I texted with a Ford rep and her response to why the Platinum only had 1 wheel option AND that 1 wheel option was also...
Ok, can't wait to see what you do. Good luck!
I had 18"s put on my 2002 Explorer and had them also put on 17" to see the difference because I was just too nervous going up from the 16". That was a nice option to make sure I was happy and very much appreciated. But living in MN there's no dealer...
I've been on the fence for months about moving to 24" wheels. The Kapan's are what I want in black but not sure I want the 24"s. You can't get them in 22" due to the bolt pattern or they'd be on my truck. Either would be cool as I've lurked around both those.
Please post whatever you get as...
09 Suburban did this to me all the time in the winter months. I even bought an entire new gas tank assembly and it still did it. VERY frustrating when it's cold outside and you can only get about a half gallon before it shuts off. Took forever and was a miserable time, especially when I was low.
I guess I'm now at this party as well. Noticed the passenger side swinging thinking it was a person walking behind me across the street. I do remote start and sometimes use the glass but rarely use rear defrost, even in MN. Hard to believe the fix is to replace the window but looks that way.
Overtow, I recommend filling out info on Lombard and Flood Ford sites in regards to the warranty. Then wait for them to start emailing YOU to sign up. I did that just to see what's what with Lombard and I later received emails from them offering greater discounts and better pricing. Worth a shot.
