Lets talk about the 3valve 5.4 cam phasers a bit..
5.4 cam phazers I Just had the cam phazers replaced in my 07 5.4, limited Expy. 2,300.00 not to happy about this since the truck has 120,000 miles on it. That's no that may miles in my opinion. Thanks All- reason I ask is I have a few friends with different diesel trucks (and one VW TDI) and part of their PM is changing the water pump around 100,000 miles. just started wondering why it's not suggested for gas engines? (or is it?) What got me thinking about it was that a friends...- Hobbes

Preventative maintenance question
So I just bought an 07 limited with 113,000 on it. Is it a good idea to change out the water pump and alternator now? Or dose anybody have any advice on what wear parts to look out for- Hobbes

king ranch seats? Nice Work! they look really good! so did you just look around at scrap yards or is there a better way to get the king ranck seats from a doner truck?
