heater core finished, thoughts and a question
Does the gear selector cable on the right side just pop off? I don't see a bolt or anything that is holding it in place. Just want to make sure before I make the problem any worse. Also where does the other end go...?- jfriesen

Ok guys working on replacing the heater core and everything went fairly smoothly with a couple of exceptions which I need your help with. I am about to do this repair myself. Glad to hear the Vista-Pro works well...was thinking about spending the extra $$ didn't want to cheap out. shifting gears
Here is what I know...about a year ago the truck had the issue where when you make low speed turns there was a chug and vibration in the rear end. So I had the transaxle fluid replaced both front and rear. Tada no more chug and vibration to low speed turns. I also know that earlier this year...- jfriesen

Compass display not working correctly.
@Quasar...thanks I did in fact make sure that it was set for the correct region. Interestingly enough I am right on the 7/8 line so I tried both and recal to each... No go @roxy1225...ok let me try that and I'll let you know if that worked... Thanks- jfriesen

Compass display not working correctly.
OK so followed the owners manual recalibration instructions and no change... Compass still shows East when it should say North. Any tips... And RTFM doesn't count!- jfriesen

@Roxy - I hate to sound like a dick but I dont have a owner's manual. That is just one reason why I use resources such as this forum. Maybe if you have one you could post up the procedure on how-to re-calibrate it! That way the whole forum could gain from your knowledge. @Big Green Ford - Oops...- jfriesen

Compass display not working correctly.
Ok so I am also having a peculiar issue where my compass is indicating the opposite direction. (ie. North -> South, West -> East and so forth) anyone have any idea what causes this or even better how to fix it? Thanks- jfriesen
