    I swapped out the cylinders and now it starts with no problem. Now my interior dome lights will not shut off even with the doors shut. Could I just take out the bulbs so it wouldn't drain my battery, because now i have to keep unhooking my battery cable when I park it.

    Actually I was mistaken it will turn over but won't start. So does that mean there is a problem with coded key?

    I just had my steering column replaced in my 01 expedition XLT, but when I try to start it the engine won't turn over and my dome lights stay on. I'm thinking that since I have a coded key that the system isn't accepting the signal from key from the replacment column. Would i need to replace...
