Best source for schematics for 1999
Charged up the battery on my 1999 XLT and now most of the circuits are inoperative. Truck had been setting this winter, battery is fully charged and manintained. THe Relay 1 had severe clicking (overhead lights) so I pulled it. Electric seats work but nothing else does. Nothing on dashboard...- John15016

2000 Eddie Bauer Expedition using oil
Search this forum. I have a 1999 5.4L and have the same problem. My engine does not leak or burn oil. There was a Technician that found that every 900 miles he used 1 quart of oil. When he had his truck in the garage, they told him that Form had a bulletin many years ago regarding usage...- John15016

Does the oil dipstick go to the bottom?
Please search this site. There is a comment from a Tech guy that said that he saw the FoMoCo bulletin that came out in 2000 that stated that the 5.4L engine will use 1 quart of oil every 900 miles. Burning Oil
Who would have thought it? "Authorized to burn a qt. of oil every 900 miles! I was just now searching for just such an answer to oil "disappearing" from my 99'.
