I am a hunter and a fisherman, I originally purchased a 2WD 2008 ford expedition to replace a minivan for the familly. I was never planning to use it for the fishing and hunting trip in 125 kmof gravel and muddy foresty road but thats what happened to my old expy. It handled things surprisingly well for a 2WD. The 4 Wheel independant suspenion makes a huge difference on fast gravel road. I recently with a pinch in my heart sold my 2008 for a 4WD 2015 EL platinum expy. I am preparing it for my next fishing anfd moose hunting thip… The Ecoboost 3.5 power has so far impressed my a lot.
