    AC Clutch not Engaging

AC Clutch I did not check with a mulitmeter. I only checked them by pulling them ro verify that they were not blown along with pulling them to make sure that what they were supporting did not work when removed.

    AC Clutch not Engaging

I have an 05 Expy EB edition and the ac clutch will not engage. I took it on a trip and the ac work fine, but on the way back home it stopped working. I found that the connection that goes into the clutch had a wire that was cut into a little bit. I reconnected the fwo wires with a butt...

    Courtesy Lights/AC issue

I recently changed out the timing chains on my 05 EXPY EB and all runs great, but now the courtsey lights will not come on when trying to turn them on. They come on when the doors open, but not when I physically try to turn them on. I have checked the fuses and relays in the fuse box and all...

    05 EB Camshaft/Timing chain "HELP"

Okay everyone! I was able to get everything back in its place, started up with no issues, no check engine light, no codes and a clean inspection. This had to be one of the hardest mechanical things that I have ever done. I thought I would have never been this deep inside an engine, but luckily...

    05 EB Camshaft/Timing chain "HELP"

Help Thanks for the reply back. I guess I am being a little vague about my issue. I hope this explanation is a bit better. The first time I removed the timing chain I did not have the camshaft held down so it would not move, I was able to turn the camshaft back to the proper position in...

    05 EB Camshaft/Timing chain "HELP"

Camshaft Timing I have everything removed, but I am trying to figure out the process of getting the camshaft back in the proper place so that I can put the chains on and get the engine back in time. I am trying to figure the proper process out so that I do not cause damage to the engine...

    05 EB Camshaft/Timing chain "HELP"

So to put it in better terms I had an accidentally rotation of the camshaft and am not sure how to put it back so that the Expy starts and runs correctly.

    05 EB Camshaft/Timing chain "HELP"

So I started working to change the timing chain on my 05 Expy and forgot to clamp down the pass side cam shaft, so when I remover the chain the phaser and cam shaft twisted to the left a bit. Though I had it back but when I turned over the engine (by hand) the shaft now makes a clunk sound...

FPDM was not corroded, so now I am back to trying to find the IAC for the 5.4L engine. Any ideas out there?

Rough idle @ operating temp and idle

I am having a simliar issue. I have changed many parts and the idle speed in P and N now idles as it should when I rev the engine up some. It use to drop down to low RPMs and either stall out or try to. is the idle an issue while being in P or N or is it while you are driving? I cleaned...

    05 Expedition E.B. Engine Idle

I have looked in the location that is in the pictures, but I beleive that is for 04 and later models. On the 05 that I have there is nothing like that. I even pulled the throttle body off again to be sure. I read some other sites and it states that the Fuel Pump Driver Module may be the...

    05 Expedition E.B. Engine Idle

So my 05 Expedition idle drops from 900-1000 to about 250-400 sometimes lower, I have replaced the fuel filter, all spark plugs and coils, cleaned the throttle body and the MAF, did an engine flush and changed the air filter. I am able to keep a good idle while in P and N, but once I go to...
