I believe that the "fix" has been implemented in production.
As far as I can tell, my 2022 KR 4wd with HD trailer tow with 3.73 axles and ELSD has no IWE!

Looks like the heated windshield under the wipers was deleted for 2021 and beyond which explains why it is not on my 22 KR.

Even if the physical crash test has not been performed, vehicles today are designed around computer simulations of crash tests that are amazingly good. Vehicles crashes today are usually just confirmations of the computer simulation.
The TRICO 16J fit my 15 KR perfectly and as far as I can tell is what Ford used as OEM at the plant. They may have changed to the beam style blade at some point.
This should only happen when the speed control is engaged. The speed control is doing exactly what it is designed to do -- maintain the vehicle speed at what you instructed it to do. The obvious countermeasure is to pause the speed control until you reach the bottom of the hill.
