2001 EB Instrument gauge lights dimming out? Advice?
Good afternoon to all and happy holidays. Need a little bit of advice and suggestions. My 2001 Expy EB 5.4L 135K, instrument panel lights are dimming with age...I am the original owner, and have noticed within the last 2 +/- years that the lights are not as bright as they used to be - obviously...- nobycane74

2000 5.4L Bauer - Cabin Air Filter?
For the 97-02 Expeditions - there were not any cabin air filters that came standard with any edition (XLT or EB). It was however an option.......a dealer option specifically when pre-ordering or customizing...but the cabin air filters on the 1st gens are extremely rare and uncommon.- nobycane74

Cannot provide advise...however this is 4th time that I have either read or actually seen in some capacity an '00-'02 having the 2nd row seating being "captain chairs'. What did you do to the expy today
MY GOD......I just ended up dropping $1900 on upkeep and immediate repairs on my 01 Exp EB with 122K. Normal maintenance stuff initially: - Oil Change - Injector Flush/Service - Alignment - Double checking on why ABS light was constantly on. But my new 5 month old brakes were making some weird...- nobycane74

Rear AIR Suspension Concern
To be honest OP and a lot of people here are giving great advise, so I will piggy-back some of theirs as well.... MY 01 EXP EB (2WD) had the air suspension leveling system too...mine eventually just gave out due to age about 4 years ago at 79K. As being the original owner, it was way to costly...- nobycane74

97 xlt ABS delete possible?
Same here....01 Expy EB 5.4L. I was told with mine that the internal sensor within the complete module is going bad so therefore the entire module needs to be replaced...which would cost me $300-400 overall with a core charge. Now my ABS light comes on sporadically ... no real pattern in driving...- nobycane74

I have had new Lightning style headlight assemblies for a couple years now, and replaced the bulbs with some whiter bulbs...but apparently these kind of suck, as the hi-beams do not illuminate well, and they are not as bright as I want them to be.
