    So this is the 2nd time ive posted on this but i thought i would give it another shot. So, 99% of the time, I drive around in 2WD. However, outta nowhere and with no ryhme or reason I'll start to get a "clunking" noise coming from the driver side front wheel "area". The sound is best...

    Expy Shudder once in over drive

    I'm with delerious here. After around 45-50 mph when I try to accelerate (slowly so it stays in overdrive) I get the "shudders" too. So now that makes two of us. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas that'd be awesome!!! P.S. I have an '06 XLT

    thanks for the help. What would heve made the noise go away by switching from 2WD to A4WD you think? I went to les schwab and they took everything apart on the front end and looked at all of it and said everything (including bearings) seemed to be intact and functioning properly. I was told...

    Grinding noise coming from under the front of my car I would like to add to my previous post that last night while driving we experienced the grinding noise again and I switched the drive selector switch from 2WD to A2WD and the noise went away. Could this be a clue as to where the problem lies?

    Ok so, I'm on a road trip from OR to So. Cal and 3 seperate times on the way down I got what sounds like some serious grinding/rattling noise coming from what I "think" is the front-driver side wheel area. It almost sounds like there is a rock stuck in my between my rotor and caliper...

    guess I spoke to soon. Starting on Saturday my a/c is doing the same "default thing. Only this time it's not doing it 100% of the time. This time it only happens when I reach 40mph. and will NOT go back to "normal" until about 45-50mph....it's weird, I dunno what's up....any IDEAS??!!

    did you replace the plugs and coils yourself? Did you have any issues with the plugs breaking upon removal like so many other people? If so, what was the total cost after all was said and done? Thanks, just curious. (I was told that replacing my plugs could run me as much as $1,200!!!)
