This week: replaced my PCV Valve due to diagnostic code P04DB. Light went off and has remained off. Really appreciate the fine folks at O’Reilly’s for letting customers use their scanners and overnighting a $8 part for me!
Did you get your P04DB code resolved? Mine just threw this code, and O’Reilly’s recommended replacing the PCV Valve - $10 part, so I’ll do that tomorrow (when they get the part in).
Did you see these light smoke front light tint kits? May look good with your dark grill. I’ll be adding to mine when I get around to chrome deleting.

I realize this is a super old post, but did you just plastidip your fender KR emblems? I was thinking about taking mine off, but I fear there may be guide holes underneath. I haaaate the look of these bulky fender emblems!
This is excellent information, thank you!! I def have been very intent on listening/feeling for anything new since getting the vehicle back. If anything presents, I will follow your advice here. Thanks again!
They did not. The transmission was previously rebuilt twice due to vibrations, which didn’t resolve the issue (clearly). Apparently Ford took the car back and put the previous owners in a new Expedition and this one found its way through several dealers until I turned into the schmuck who bought...
I just had my 20 KR in the shop for vibrations I felt in the rear of my seat while accelerating. They had to replace my driveshaft and u-joint (and all of the ancillary components). Check your u-joint and go from there.
Update: had to replace driveshaft and u-joint and whatever other small components. Ride quality is 100% better, no vibrations other than expected road vibrations.
Update: dealer informed me the u-joint is cracked and needs to be replaced. Hopefully problem solved. Part is ordered, but it’s been two weeks without my truck :sad72:
I bought my 2020 KR Expy CPO less than a month ago, the auto start/stop has never worked, always says it’s charging. The dealer I purchased it from says they changed the battery and it looks new.
I tested it, checked out fine. Trickle charged it over night, and the start/stop still didn’t work...
Update: I mentioned your post when I took it in last Thursday (dealer still has it, haven’t heard back). Since it’s under warranty, I’ll let the experts figure this one out (and get their hands dirty).
They’re doing a diagnostic first, but the tech agreed it’s probably a rear diff issue. Also...
I have the same question, finding no answers. I just want my KR output the same as the Platinum eco boost. Same engine, same components, what’s the difference?
Just a factory tune? Will Ford recalibrate the KR system to match that of the Platinum if requested? I went with the KR bc I didn’t...
