I am on my 3rd Ford Expedition a 2000 Eddie Bauer 5.4 V8, The Flying Dutchman. The first car I learned how to drive was my family's first Expedition, a 1998 XLT (The Red October). My most faithful vehicle to date was the 1998 Eddie Bauer 5.4L V8 (The Dauntless) bought in 2009 and kept until 2016.
As of 2021, I can say that The Flying Dutchman is replacing The Dauntless as my most faithful vehicle. It's a journey with this one as I am doing as much of the work on it myself as I can. If I won the lottery, it's safe to say a good chunk of it would be going towards The Dutchman. My mother passed in March of 2020 (not of Covid) and working on my beloved Expedition have been one of the few things that truly makes me happy.
