Bubble flares on Ford factory lines for years. I used standard double flares for splicing In a replacement. I took a stock part snipped at a few key points that I could get a somesplces in with the wrenches. Double flare couplers are more readily available over bubble flars Also the 03...- thesavo

That's strange that there is no word of it in the 2006owners guide or 2006 order guide. 300c option code isn't listed either. Both reference speed sensitive wipers and the order guide references the rear window mounted wiper as a "class exclusive"...- thesavo

Maintenance guide from fleet.ford.com says that a 2003 should get new plugs every 100K Miles on normal duty and every 60K miles on severe duty. Though we know their maintenance intervals for fluids should be cut in half. Maybe the same should be true for their wear parts like spark plugs too...- thesavo

I could be wrong, but I thought those 5.4L engines needed plugs replaced often. If the trans runs like silk and three are only a few minor issues, keep it running. New vehicles are not to run as long as that one. Tune it up and and keep it running. Motorcraft sp-479 plugs are under $4 each...- thesavo
