Where can I find the high current fuses? In my manual there's the description and illustration of the in cab fuse box but nothing but fuse descriptions on the high power ones, which has a fuel pump fuse listed. Nevermind. I found some info.
Everything running fine. Wife comes home from work for lunch then goes to leave and it will only turn over. Where should I start looking first? Fuel pump fuse and or relay? Are there any fuses/relays associated with the ignition? Getting ready to go out and tackle it but wanted to sound board...
Is this the "Blower Control Module" you speak of because yes, I can't find a resistor set up anywhere. The green input is coming directly from the wiring harness and the output directly to the blower motor as you can see in the picture. I pulled the relay and it looks brand new. No scorching or...
Yah not the fuse. Didn't think so. I've replaced a motor or two in the past the reason I have so many questions is this Eddie Bauer system is so damn complicated. It doesn't even resemble the Haynes manual. The resistor isn't on the blower motor housing. There's just a plug. What looks like the...
Thanks guys. It healed itself again for a little while but started again a while back. It's getting air conditioning time as opposed to windows down so I need the blower going. I had a spare climate control unit that is perfectly fine so I swapped that in just to see if the roll switch was bad...
So what's the consensus? Is there a relay I now need to replace or did my fan just give up the ghost right when I really need it? I have the climate control unit with the spin wheel and the fan isn't working at any setting.
If the motor or resistor needs replaced can someone point me to the...
Motor working fine last night. This morning 1/2 of ice on the car, 10 inches of snow coming and the front blower motor no longer blows.
These online diagrams are so hit and miss so I'm asking the pros here. 2001. Where is the blower motor fuse or relay? Whatever one this has so I can drive the...
What cop did you go for? I've had vehicles with two of these motors now through many many miles and the cop has been the issue in 90% off all my misfires. The brand makes a difference. I went with Accel for a while because they were cheaper. I could only get 10-20k out of them before they went...
Found my answer. I was seriously questioning how they could get clamps up in there unless the core was installed before the couling. Other than getting my hand up in there and clipping those off without losing the o-rings it looks pretty simple. My problem is due to an accident my right hand is...
Thanks. Maybe spraying a little lubricant in there will solve the problem of it automatically locking the child door opening mechanism. I'm sure it gets a little embarrassing having to let my 16 year old out of the car.
Edit: I'm guessing it's in the door itself under the latch or I've just went...
Then you are probably where I'm at. Clogged front core it seems. I'm working on a solution here. Sounds like a core flush will do the trick I'm just hoping to get learnt a process to do that without having to pull the dash and remove the whole assembly. Keep an eye on my thread...
Interesting. Thanks. Now the question is how the hell to get those off??? They are so far back up on the firewall I cannot even see how they have them clamped on. Is this something I will need to remove the dash for or do you have a quick fix?
Edit: I know the product well. We had some pretty...
One more for the day y'all. I have the driver rear door not turning the interior lights on when I open it. I saw something in the sticky about wd40 on the hinge and I guess that's the fix but that also seems very strange to me. I cannot see a switch anywhere so is it in the hinge??? All the...
Sorry but all I can tell you is it's a vacuum line T. One end goes to the throttle body assembly and the other sections go to God knows. I have some dry rotting on mine and would like to replace it so I basically am in your position of not knowing exactly what it is either.
