Hey Guys
This is my very first request.
I have a 2003 Eddie Bauer with the climate control system and my OUTSIDE air temp reading is stuck on
75.
I have removed the temp sensor from the front of the vehicle, and verified that the Ohm readings do in fact change from the initial 22ohms down to about 4 ohms when I used a hair dryer to heat it up and then to about 40 ohms when I dipped it into cold water.
Maybe this means the sensor is OK, maybe not. I don't know.
I had my vehicle in the shop a couple of weeks ago to repair the #3 cylinder blown out sparkplug thing :flame:, so the battery was disconnected for a couple of days. Maybe the temp electronics didn't reset right????
Is there a way to reset it??
Your input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

To enter the self-test, press the OFF and floor buttons simultaneously and then press the AUTO button within two seconds.

The display will show a dashed line in the center of the climate control display window.

The test may run as long as 30 seconds. Record all DTCs displayed. The self-test is completed when 888 appears in the center of the climate
control display window.

To exit the self-test and retain all intermittent Air Temperature Powertrain DTCs, press the ‘‘—’’ (cooler) side of the TEMP Sensor Circuit Control
button. The module will exit the self-test, and retain all intermittent DTCs.

To exit the self-test and clear all DTCs, press the front defrost button. All DTCs will be cleared.

Always exit the self-test before powering the system down (system turned off).

Unfortunately, this method does not work on my vehicle. It does not enter any sort of test mode at all, no matter what I tried.
Thanks anyway Norexp
