2004 Expedition Moon Roof Question

Hello, I am new to this site, but not new to this type of forum. I purchased a new to me 2004 Ford Expedition this past week and the truck is rather solid and in good condition. I used the moonroof (sunroof) today (first time) and when I got home I closed the sunroof. After taking the key out of the ignition, the sunroof opened up about half way then closed and opened to vent (lift up). It continues to do this open, close, open and close. I can hit the center button for the sunroof and it will stop. I had to put the key in, turn it on and then stand on the side steps so I could watch it get into the closed position and hit the button to make it stay. So my question is what is causing the sunroof to work on its own with the key out of the ignition? Any help would be great and Thanks
