Hi, I noticed my lower radiator hose is cracked where it connects from the connector to the engine when I was changing the oil the other day. I purchased the hose, but I'm not seeing how to remove the hose from the connector. I've attached a pic.

Does anyone know how to remove? I tried twisting it off but didn't work. Didn't want to give it too much force in case it would break. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Robby

It looks like the crap they used on my 1st gen. Cut off the band with a sharp utility knife and use screw hose clamps on the new hose.

Thanks for the tip! I don't think I could fit the hose around the metal part though since its wider. The middle of the metal connector is what the retaining clip goes on, so I can't cut the outer part of the connector off.

After some searching, the complete hose from radiator to engine with metal connector where this one is, is on RockAuto for $12 more than the hose I bought from Advance that just goes from connector to engine. I'm thinking of ordering it and returning this one.

Late update
Turned out that middle piece is a connector. I was able to twist off the band with pliers and with some force I got the hose off. I did end up using the screw hose clamps, since the band wasn't going back on. Thanks for your help stamp!
