I purchased a 2004 Navigator a few months ago and it has been running great. I recently fueled up and the attendant filled with 87 regular instead of 93 super. The Navigator Requires Premium. Now I have a Reduced engine Power message at highway speeds going uphill. I haven't burned through that fuel yet. Still have about 1/4 tank of the 87 octane left. Is the message due to the lower octane fuel? TIA

Its not the fuel you need to check throttle body and accelerator pedal sensors for malfunction. You need a repair manual for this.
