I'll post pics of the process to the best of my abilities. i tend to forget to take pictures of some steps and don't want to backtrack when i do. I hope to have the donor truck this weekend to begin teardown.

If anyone has any advice i'd love to hear it. This will be the first time i've ever dug into a truck. I've swapped a 96 mustang interior into a 93 mustang before and hope that this will be easier than that was.

Looking forward to seeing how you deal with the seats - if they bolt in or need to something to the bases. I want to get some of those red/brown distressed leather King Ranch 2nd gen seats for my rig.

If history is any indicator the seats should bolt in pretty easily. In the mustang i swapped the Steering column was the big hurdle. I had to cut a section out of the firewall and weld it into the 93 because of the different styles of passthrough.

I could be wrong. My biggest worry is making everything work with the new wiring inside. i have an engineless donor so i will have most of the underhood accessories if i need to make a change there.

I read somewhere that all half ton ford seats '97+ are direct swap. I'm interested to see your build as it progresses.

So the seats are interchangeable, what about the wiring for electrics? Will everything simply plug in or is there any cutting/splicing involved?
