I wanted to level out the rake on my 08 KR. I ordered the 2" (1.175" thick aluminum) spacer kit from ebay (came from summit)

After the install it was plain to see that the new front height was too much in perspective to the rear.

Not listening to the "can't be done" crowd, I did one of the easiest suspension modifications I've ever done.

I've made adjustable ride height links that effectively fool the sensors into thinking the truck is too low. I'm currently running at 1 3/4-1 7/8" lift in back with no issues. Any more than 2" and a guy "could" add a thin spacer to the top of the air strut so it operates in it's factory designed position. At 2" lift the strut is only expanded out 1".

I've upgraded these links to stainless and aluminum plus went to metric for more precise adjustability. They are available HERE on ebay.

Any reason these (or a different length equivalent) wouldn't work with front air springs just as well?

I haven't done any research on the front with air. Mines an 08 so I do not have front air struts.
I can make the links to whatever lengths necessary. I have no idea what changes in the link length equate to what changes in height nor what effect any of this has on the air strut and it's operation. I'm inclined to say, like the rear, you can extend them a fair amount without issue, but beyond that, a lift/strut spacer, should be added above the strut.

Your car? Please be more specific... "use some of those from company"... you live in China? This thread is about a special part for lifting expeditions with air struts. Please delete your post and start a new thread or go to the general lift section..
Thanks

I'm just finding this thread and wonder how this mod has held up. Did the new links have to be modified at all or a direct swap for the oem?

I just realized your building these and I'm very interested in hearing more feedback on how they have worked out for anyone that tried them

Adjust these according to the directions as a place to start, take out OEM, and snap these into place. If you want more or less, adjust accordingly.

I have them set to 2" for about 3 years and 20K using them.
