Driver side mirror turn signal lights not working

How do I replace the LED signal lights in the mirror? I can take off the back mirror cover but I am worried that I would break the mirror if I force it out.

Also, where do I find an OEM replacement? I looked in fordparts.com and I cannot find it there either.

Any help would be so much appreciated!

Year, make, model of vehicle would be helpful - and type of mirrors (such as towing package mirrors).

Have you tried a Ford dealer for the signal lights?

Update... I replaced the bulb at the front driver side signal. I tested the mirror signal marker by plugging to the battery and it turned on no problem. But it is still would not flash. The signal flasher is clicking fast whenever I signal to the left. Could this be a bad multifunction switch?
