I have a 2007 expedition and while driving yesterday it lost all power an kicked back in. Then today it lost all.power again an died. Started back up an I continued a 1/4 mile an it lost all power an died again only this time it wouldn't start back up. I replaced the battery last week as I parked an it wouldn't start back. The code was for a fuel pump which turned out to be good. This week I'm getting good the code for the fuel pump again. Could anyone give a suggestion on whether you think it's the fuel pump or another problem. Thanks I'm advance

The 07's have the fuse box located in a very hot environment. If you have a meter or test light, check for power at fuse 71 at the fuel pump relay pin 2. Also check the fuel pump diode with a meter that can test diodes.

That fuse box has a metal bus that powers most of the circuits. You need to test for power at the specific pin. How did you test for power?

The diode is the small black fuse like components on the right side of the box.

Oh ok. We used a volt meter and tested the ohms on it. Everything we have tested thus far is checking out. I'm thinking fuel pump. Is there a way to know for sure.
