I am looking to put a wireless phone charger into my 2014 Limited. I am hoping to put a tray in the console and then install a charging pad powered off the USB port. I may wire a new 12V socket in there if I decide to go with a fast charger. (Samsung S7 phone supports fast charging).

Does anyone know if this part will fit the 2014 Expedition? 9L3Z-19A090-AA is the Ford part number for a console tray that fits the F150.

Thanks.

Maybe a future model will have something like what the new Tahoe's have. Wireless charger in the center of the armrest. The we could just swap out the top.

I'm looking for a Samsung fast charger for my 2014 limited as well. Has anyone found a good option?
Thanks

I use this with my S6 Active and it works really well. Fast charges wirelessly and the phone pops in and out with one hand. I have it stuck upside down on the small flat panel just above the rectangular tray in front of the cup holders.

Ynpmoose, what model are you using? I keep reading that most wireless charges can't keep up with Waze power consumption. Would you also shoot a pic of your setup? Thanks.

Oops, my post was suppose to include the Amazon link to the one I use: http://a.co/9L8gkLV (I have the older version, not the newer version)

I use AndroidAuto Waze, so you have to physically insert the USB cable in the phone. Wireless is only charging, not comms, so I will use that if I'm not using Waze.
Before AA Waze was available, I did use this with regular Waze and the charger would typically maintain the charge, but not always recharge, depending on the screen brightness. I found it did better if you forced Waze to night mode always, which is darker and easier on the power usage.

Here are the pics. I even have room to the right for my Garmin RV760 that I use when towing. Waze is great for regular driving and traffic, but it will absolutely route you to places you don't want to be with a trailer.
