hi there,

I've noticed in my 2005 EB that sometimes when signalling to turn right, the turn signal doesn't blink and there's a loud clicking/grinding noise. If I turn off the turn signal and turn it back on again it seems to work normally. Anyone else come across this before?

Your grinding noise may be arching of electrical contacts or the plastic parts of the switch have broken inside it causing the sound. Where is the sound located, at the switch?

You need to clean the electrical contacts on your turn signal switch in the steering column. Search for you tube vids on how to do this.

I have an 05 EB that had a turning signal issue. When putting on to make a right turn it would not on and would make a loud buzzing sound, I could pull the lever down just before it goes into its nutural position and the signal would work.

Bottom Line. The signal is a modular unit so I purchased a unit from SMP (Standard Motor Products) and replaced the whole unit. The cost was $58 0r $78 I forget, but easy job and the unit works great.
