charcoal cannister... where to buy

anyone had to purchase one of these items? if so, where can they be sourced and what can I expect to pay?

trying the shade tree fix first; purchased used canister, cleaned up the outside and installed... have not checked it yet. Also, tore open the original from the car, emptied out the charcoal, cleaned up all parts. will order some charcoal and filter material, re-assemble and try also. only other possible problem may be the purge valve ($45 +or- new part). anyway, only $35 in this little headache so far. anyone done this and gotten positive results?
