Need new headlight housings for black Expedition

how would smoked headlight housings on a black 1st gen look?

I've been thinking about replacing mine as they are cloudy.

Or should I stick with the "regular" look of the factory lights?

I'd do something other than stock. It helps to update the look of the truck, even something mild like the Harley-Davidson or Lighning lights makes a difference.

I saw a new black Mustang tonight and it had smoked lenses and a black grill. It looked pretty good. I thought it would be too much black.

The clear ones (Lightning style) should look good with their inside chrome on a dark vehicle. I think you can get an aftermarket set for around $100.

and if you do go this route, I suggest to get the matching clear fog lamps to complete the look

Black Halo LED Projector Headlight i really like to get em for mine also rear ones to match along with led bulbs of some sort also

I ended up going with the 4 piece Lightning style for better light output. I really wanted a smoked version but all the reviews I read on those were not good.

I'm happy with these. They really clean up the front end.

I didn't touch the fogs because I never use them and there's a chance I won't have the fog lights much longer.
