I've got same issue with my 2000. The keyless entry will sometimes open the back doors but not front. Same thing if I use the lock / unlock switch inside. Haven't torn doors apart, hate doing that as the panels never go back right. My door buttons go up halfway but not enough to open door. Let me know what parts you find bad.
