Bought a loaded 12 Expy EL Limited a year ago. Was looking at Sub's and Sequoia's as well. There's a little more leg room in the 2nd row of the Expy vs. the Sub which was important to us.

But the bottom line is how many Sub's, even newer ones out there, that you see rust on the body? Seems to be a GM problem on their trucks. In the end I wanted no part of this.

Bought the 12 Expy and LOVE it! Smooth, quiet ride.....much better than a Sub (we have owned 3 of them). Did I say the ride is awesome! Yep it'll tow and haul anything we'll every have.

My wife loves it and most of you know -- happy wife = happy life!

Bought mine cause it was comfortable. I sat on the seat and drive it and it felt like I been driving it for years that truly was my only reason. I could care less how big or how much it tows or what's the mpg's like if it feels good driving it I'm fine with that.

was looking at many trucks (mainly new), with all the features and price, my 09 navi drives as good if not better (most days) better than many of the newer cars out. my dad agrees mines drives better than his 15 escalade. seats are all day comfy literally (its taken a few 20+ hr drives), room and options for days, incredible sound system, amazing highway ride, plenty of room for stuff or friends(wife wishes we had bench though), its hard to justify a newer ride except for the newer replacement which mines is a holdover for. was going to get an expy but the air springs make the ride so much better. the one i truly wanted had less miles and rode much better (was a l model) but dealer was a no go on price. all in all nothing i drove new or old rele compares. only a few problems but best purchase ive ever made...atleast until 2018 model:banana-mario:

I had been driving a 1991 full size Bronco EB Edition for the past few years. A couple of years ago, I wanted something a little more comfortable for the wife and I. I have always been a Ford truck fan, and I bought a used Explorer for my son to drive and really liked it, although it was a bit too cramped for my taste, so I looked into the Expedition for me. I found them to be both roomy and comfortable, and it gets much better fuel economy than my Bronco did.
