the design is almost finalized! new spy photos have the new expy in camo. looking at the spy photos, the basic body design is the one shown for the navigator concept, but there looks to be a good amount of design pieces seen on the current explorer. the front clip looks like a mix of the current expys three bar design with front bumper and the expl front clip. the expy looks to have wrap around tailights reminiscent of the explorer with the chrome bar on tail gate thats shared btw the two and lower lift glass wiper. they look to be testing an xlt model as this one has 18s that look alot like the current models 18s. the mirrors look brand new, and both those and windows are drastically smaller. a further departure from the f150 so far, esp since the f150 for my18 looks more like the super duties. all in all i like the design and look forward to seeing it with new 20s and 22s, it has the svelte look like the explorer but with more masculine features. will have to wait until january for final design (last few new model designs were leaked way before final unveil) but in all im excited. ruby red or silver limited 2.7l with 20 in rims and ccd and technology pkg will be in my driveway this time nxt yr if a psuedo expl design makes it to the expy!!

i think so. speaking as that the current trucks have had the same basic design since 96, only the front and clips have changed really. it looks like they are finally investing in these trucks to higher competitive levels, esp the navi. i myself am extremely excited, hearing that this design was pushed back from my15 back in 2012 was disheartening.
