Not that I know of. After you blow water out of plug/ pins, you can put some dielectric grease around outside of plug. You don't want to put it on pins, as it cuts down on electrical conductivity. Their probably is something that can be put on pins itself, guys what do you reccomend?

Well I'm probably gone hear a conflict on this statement. But I just read online from a electronics engineer that worked both with television/ electronics, as well as automotive. His claim was he and his colleagues used silicone dielectric grease on the pin connectors that transfer current. Like the ones on your plug that connects to the Gem module. He stated that it not only transferred current on all the RCA and other brands TVs. It also worked fine in Automotive use. Be sure it is Silicone dielectric grease that you use. Not saying all water would be sealed out, but it's better than putting two bare plugs together, and getting moisture in there. Well theirs my two cents worth. As I always say, it works for me. Do with this information as you wish. Seal your windshield well. It's gonna be a wet weekend here in the Bay Area, and all the west coast.

New problem....

Was driving last night only about a mile away. suddenly lost all power.

Poped hood to check cables...in the dark....pos burned me. it got hot enough to melt the led clamp.

The negative melted the end off the cable. had to use a piece of rubber hose wo hold the wire to battery.....

Any ideas
