I have a 2007 EL XLT that has seen better days. this year I have changed the timing chain (which I believe I didn't have to yet, which is why I have started doing my own maintenance), I changed fuel filter, changed all 8 spark plugs, coils and boots (not fun), changed the right side manifold (huge crack, made in China). and now it looks like I need a new muffler.

But when I was doing the Fuel Filter research, on a couple of threads somewhere they talked about the Fuel Pump Drive Module. I got it and while I was under there I looked everywhere for it and couldn't find it. under the spare and on back panel nothing no where. Does anyone here know where it could be and please don't tell me I have to drop the gas tank because its in there. (that's the only place I didn't check, because I don't want to drop tank)

It's part of the fuel pump assembly inside the fuel tank.

AGAIN THIS IS SOME BAD INFORMATION FROM docraymund and its been more than once I have posted about the FPDM yet he continues to give false info

You will DIE before you find a FUEL PUMP DRIVERS MODULE on a 2007 Expedition

It is not in the tank! It is behind the spare tire, passenger side frame rail. Because it is aluminum and frame rail is steel, along with weather and corrosion from both, they do have problems. Theirs a video online for r/r of this part. Let us know.

Thanks for the Feedback by all. thanks Bedrck47 for the copy of the Fuel Pump circuit. I asked because I too was told by other mechanics that its there. one did tell me I didn't find it because it was in the tank with the pump so that is why I came here and asked. thanks for the help. I will be returning the one I got from RockAuto and letting them know that 2007 dont have them so they should take them off under 2007
