Are you having problems with the circuit
it all started when I was towing a travel trailer and came to a stop, my engine would make a really loud knocking sound and almost die. almost like losing gas pressure. so I took it in and they told me it was the timing chain. so spent $2500 on new kit but when I got to camping with the trailer again it did it again. I was very upset and took it back they opened it up again and looked and said it was all good. again it happened. so I just started throwing parts at it hoping one would work. thought well it acts like it is loosing gas pressure so I thought maybe fuel filter and reading about that it said change fuel filter and FPDM at same time and looking on utube I saw a lot of FPDM corroding because of hard winters. and on RockAuto it was under 2007 so when I got the filter I got the FPDM with it and while on lift I looked everywhere. good to know Im not blind. so then I thought will maybe its a timing issue so chain is new so I thought spark plug so I went ahead and changed them (which I have learned I will never do that again) along with coils and boots. it still does it. so now I have read to change oil thickness so next im going to change from 5w-20 to something thicker to see if it goes away. it doesnt do it every time I stop, just does it a lot when I pull a trailer. and after I rev up engine it goes away. never a check engine light or code. trailer is only around 7500 so I know I am under wight limit.

First I would suggest that you stop throwing parts into it with the hopes they solve the problem.

How many miles on the expy?

Next you can borrow a fuel pressure gauge at some auto parts stores and get the fuel pressure readings at the fuel rail.

And most important do not follow any advice from docraymund He almost had you going on a wild goose chase.
