Changed my spark plugs. they looked like this. the ones with the dirt on them i had to spray carb cleaner into the hole and poke around with a screwdriver in order to get them out. finally finished and now i have a misfire that is not throwing a code.

anyone have any experience with this before i go back at it one by one?IMG_0609.JPG

turns out there was some coolant in one of the holes. when i did the passenger side i had broken the heater hoses. i thought i had vacuumed out all of the coolant but i guess not.

Did you have to take the manifold off to remove the sparkplugs?

No you don't have to, however, it is easier to get a couple of the COP's off if the fuel rail is removed or at least lifted off the injectors. If you do remove the fuel rail replace the O rings on the injectors (piece of cake and cheap). Its plug 6 or 7 that is the real ***** ;)

The next time my spark plugs need to be replaced, I'm just gonna haul the truck to the junk yard instead!
