I have a 04 expedition, 4.6L. I noticed a leak from the front of my gas tank after I fill up. I decided to drop the tank and take a look. Turns out the front vapor valve is cracked and leaking gas when i have it filled up. I can't seem to get the valve off the tank. Is this thing permanently attached? What is the easiest way to fix this?

Any luck?
I just noticed a leak in the same area after a fill up but only when parked facing downhill, no time to investigate, going on a 1400 mile trip....wish me luck
