My mother has a 2008 Ford Expedition and it has peeling as long as bubbling paint on the liftgate and the hood. What can i do get this solved. The Expedition has always been keptnin good condition and doesn't even have 100,000 miles on it yet. What can i do to get it repaired?

Ford paint, as well as GM's, has a problem with aluminum parts. There's a page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/fordpeelingpaint/ that has pointers about resolving your issue. The main problem is the Expy is way out of warranty. Read the Facebook entries and you'll find your problem is one suffered by many Expedition/Navigator owners,s including me. In my case it started while i still had B2B warranty

If you want it done right (panels replaced) and done at Ford's expense then your only recourse is small claims. The odds of winning are strongly in your favor as Ford has been battling these issues for 17 years and still hasn't corrected them despite acknowledging their existence in several TSBs.

FORDS ALUMINUM BODY SECRET: Our 2015 Ford Expedition with 20,000 miles in California has Aluminum Corrosion on the front hood and rear hatch door. Ford has known about this problem since the year 2000 and has done nothing about it, documented in Technical Service Bulletin TSB 16-0028. Dealerships are aware, but do not disclose the factory defect prior to sale, which is Fraud.IMG_4139.JPG
