98 power seat motor help!

First I would like thank you guys in advance for the help and the input. I have a 98 eb 5.4 and i need to replace the front driver's seat motor, but not sure how to do it.i was told i need to replace the frame and the motor a assembly. Or can the motor be installed along?

are you sure the motor is fried? mine would not work until I discovered that the ground wire had come loose. reattached and full movement restored.

The motor works but gear seems to be destroyed. Moving the seat forward or reverse requires someone to help push
