'00 EB Expo. The seat belt retractors feel like they're weak and don't retract as new ones do. Is there something I can do short of buying new retractors/seat belts???

unbolt the seat belts (T50 or T55 torx bolts afair) pry off the side white plastic thingie retract all the way clamp em with something like a hemostat to keep em in place then give em a good hard scrub with hot water and dish soap

Reinstall THEN unclamp else they might lock up in fully retracted position

Hey thanks for the reply. I just saw it (05/06). I'll give it a whirl. Always looking for small projects like this. Thanks.
