idle is acting up

Glad you got a handle on your idle problem. You'll figure out #3. Eliminate the secondary ignition first. Spark plug, spark wire, normally coil too, but not your case. Clean connection for#3 coil to wire. If you have any Exaust leak around that bank, take care of that as well. It's usually something stupid, just takes a long time to find it.

ok...another 120 miles no freaking codes. truck runs good as it should.
what ive learned ON HAND is vacum must be checked first before replacing things on HIGH IDLE situation.

i guess this is end of this thread and i wanna thank everyone for there help and input...love it here.

One of the biggest culprits of varying idle on our vehicles, is some sort of intake leak. That's why we always recommend to smoke the engine, to find those pesky leaks. They will have you pull your hair out if you don't do this simple diagnostic. Glad your running right.
