Okay I went out and drove it at night tonight for the first time. I cannot believe how dark the headlight seem compared to my 05 with the aftermarket hid bulbs in the stock headlight housings or even the stock halogens. I actually pulled over to see if the headlights were on or if I was running with parking lights. Just turning on the fogs threw a lot of light right in front of the bumper. On a dark road they looked like they threw an okay amount of light but with any ambient light they were really washed out. I'm going to go with either LEDs or HIDs.

I thought that you might see it that way. The thing that really bothered me was that the fogs are LED and the low beams are halogens....it just looked "uneven" to me.

fwiw; if you look at the pic I posted of the HB3 bulb, you can see that it 's labeled 12V60W.....so you might want to stay near there. The other thing I did was to park 15-20 feet from my garage door, then I adjusted each side up. The factory settings were very low so I moved them up and made sure the light pattern was even across the top.

Enjoy,

jeff

Okay, I reordered another set of LEDS for 26 bucks for the set, delivered to me from here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/122240193792?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

and just installed them. Easy job now that I know there is no "third screw" as the manual says there is<LOL>!

Anyway, here's how they look and I'll report back after I drive with them at night. The color match is very good so I'm happy that I've gotten rid of the halogen/led look when I run my fog lights.

To me, it's a GREAT improvement for 26 bucks!
