Has anyone used the Ford X-plan on their 2018 order or any previous purchase?

I think these plans are terrific, especially for those that aren't keen on negotiating. A lot of folks are put off by having to negotiate a deal so for them, those programs & plans are a Godsend. I have negotiated for a living for 30+ years and I love playing the game but I also understand that most people don't.

I enjoy negotiating for used cars. I always go in with half of what they are asking on a cash deal, they usually reject that and come back with something higher, then I go back with a lower price and ask for a new set of tires or an extended warranty. Usually they will take the second price but reject the tires or warranty, which is usually where I want to be, sometimes it takes a third round, and if they reject my offer, I say thanks, and I get up and head for the door. They usually don't let me get out the door and if they do well then I'll find something else or I'll get a call in the morning.

On new vehicles I'm not as good because I'm not as sure as how much I can push.

It looks like x-plan pricing is available, just not on the x-plan site! Go to the x-plan site, load up the 2017 expedition, then click on product specs (on the right side, under "additional research"). Now you can click on "vehicles", then "future vehicles". There's a blank spot where the expedition would be if you'd gone to Ford's website without going through the x-plan site. Click on the space where the expedition should be and it'll bring up the expedition page. Now hit "build and price" and you'll discover the prices are now "x-plan" prices. I dunno if you can actually order one at those prices or not, but they're there...

I used the xplan build and price for the Navigator and the price online was $500 more because, according to my invoice, we get a $500 discount in the Southeast on the 4x4. I would say the xplan build and price is pretty accurate.
