Would the Stiffler Upper and Lower Control Arms work with the factory air ride suspension in a 4WD Expy?

Love the progress. This truck is turning out awesome!!!!

Keep the pictures and progress coming.

When is the engine going in?

Next steps were to get started on handling and braking.

Unfortunately, I can't find any pictures of the belltech swaybar installation or the swaybars themselves. Belltech sells a swaybar set, part # 9921 for Expeditions.

The next mod was a full slate of parts for maintenance and to keep few other parts you would expect to degrade on an 18-year old truck in check, as well as a hydroboost upgrade and some lowering springs!

Used a junkyard hydroboost with a JC Customs adapter plate and a fresh coat of paint, along with raybestos brake rotors, pads and lines.

Did you use the JC Customs plate just to get it to sit at the correct angle like the hydratech kit or is that what's allowing it to be mounted upside down? I want to do the hydroboost swap but don't want to have the hoses on the top making it look cluttered.

Also what lines did you use forgot mounted that way? I found the lines the lightning guys use for regular routing but never seen it mounted that way.

Hey guys, I have been slacking bigtime on keeping this updated, and work has been keeping me really busy so not much more to share, but have gotten a few little things ironed out.

Hey TJ! I understand the 4wd and 2wd control arms in the front are different, so I don't think they would work unfortunately.

Hopefully the motor goes in early next year :)

love the build. makes me want a first gen 2wd to play with

Thank you!

The JC customs plate just makes it sit at the right angle. You can mount it either direction with their plate. The plate is the same as the hydratech kit, but it's not $900 for some lines and a painted hydroboost. After doing the hydratech in my Lightning this made much more sense.

Also what lines did you use forgot mounted that way? I found the lines the lightning guys use for regular routing but never seen it mounted that way.

I used the same lines as most of the lightning guys, I posted the part #'s in an earlier post, here's a direct link. “Thunder” 1998 Expedition Build Thread

Been too long since I've updated this, on to a few little things that I forgot to post up recently. Work has had me slammed so progress has been painfully slow!

The gorgeous rear buckets and matching console lids were finished up by Chris at The12fast4u, and Danny magically worked the latches into the stock floor to make it as if it had rolled off the assembly line this way.

This is way overkill to show so many pictures, but it was so well executed it feels a shame to not show the whole process from my junkyard butchered pieces to the finished floor.

The buckets and rear console went in, I still need to finalize the console brackets and put the trim piece in, but it looks fantastic so far. Can't wait to do the front seats to match! Thanks to Chris for the great looking seats and Danny for the OEM level installation of the floor latches, it works just how Ford intended.

Finally, last update for now is the wings west spoiler! I had it painted by a local body shop and mounted it with 3M double sided mounting tape. I also switched back to a stock style 3rd brake light, the LED one I had has the LEDs aimed straight back assuming a stock mounting position, now that the 3rd brake light is angled, that wasn't going to be visible anymore at the new angle. I used Diode Dynamics LED bulbs inside the 3rd brake light.
