What do you mean by custom logos? Do you mean like stickers advertising something. I see stickers all over teenagers rice burner wind up cars like honda civics with huge scoops and wings that do absolutely nothing but scream here is am with my 92 civic and I just started driving, lol. Or do you mean something else like a custom wrap of some kind?
Lol, ah, that sounds much better. I was a little concerned at first. I didn't know there were any custom emblems, I just have the stock ones from the factory on mine. I still can't understand why some like to debadge their cars, trucks or motorcycles. I love the emblems, kind of like a badge of honor showing off what you are. If you come across something can you please post a pic so we can see what types of logos your referring to. I guess the fake air vents and fake hood scoop and transformers stickers are a no go, lol.
Some vehicles have no badges, intentionally. My 2011 Mustang is one. It has no Ford or Mustang, only 5.0 and horse on grill. I guess they figured, people know the car on sight. Dodge charger is an other model with no badges. I wouldn't want a "flex fuel", hybrid or eco-boost badge. I would definitely remove them.
Yes, I get it and agree. I know everyone is a little different with taste. If that's the way it came from the factory then that's how I like it. I just like to keep on it whatever came with it or without it. Stock badging is OK in my book. Down the road if they become faded, cracked or discolored then I can understand removing or replacing.
The moldings will come off the doors, just use a heat gun, some fishing line to get started and pull them off slowly. If they don't pull off then keep using the fishing line and don't rush or Force it. They will come off eventually. After they come off wash the truck and get off all the dirt that was trapped underneath. Buy an eraser wheel to remove old glue, get glue gone to finish getting off residue and then compound and buff out any lines or marks left behind.
