I just recently bought my 98 E.B. All I've done so far is get bigger tires on it. 265-70-17 to 285-70-17. It looks sexy now but I want the tires to come out of the wheel well. So I was thinking about slapping some 3" adapters on it to give it a nicer look. I couldnt find anything bigger then 3", but is 3" too big, can I go wider? Or should I go smaller? Totally open to any and all advice :)

Adapters or spacers really aren't a good idea. Some of them are very dangerous because they can fail. You might do better to get some wheels with negative offset (reversed wheels) to get the wheels to stick out farther.
