'80 Olds diesel that gobbled two engines in 100,000 miles and a '70 Chrysler that lost an internal oil pump just out of warranty.
Lol, neither of those were your fault, except that you made poor selections of automobile.

I did some research on these. Goggle Eco Boost Catch can. Damp weather loss of power. White smoke on start up. Timing chain rattle(esp on start up). Premium fuel recommended for towing and max engine output. Synthetic oil and religious maintenance. A co- worker had a turbo fail and later, massive oil leak, under 2 years old. It was in shop for a month.

The ONLY bit of info you might want to keep dear to your truck's heart is to try not to put it away right after a really hard run. Since the turbo's use the same oil as the engine, taking a little time to allow it to cool down before shutting it off and cutting off the supply of cooling oil. This is true on any engine after a hard run(so cams and cyl walls don't flash off causing "dry starts") but a little more critical with the turbo's because they run at such high temps normally.

Good luck and congratulations....very nice....'16 w/ <30K!!

The turbos are also water cooled so this is not really an issue.

Like another poster said, check your struts for leakage. I just got my front 2 replaced under warranty. They started leaking somewhere around the 15000 mile mark.

Was that on the 2.7? Those things are junk. So many instances of motors blowing up at the end of warranty. they are just too small for SUVs and trucks. The 3.5 ecoboost has a way better track of reliability. The only reason the 2.7 sells good is ford pushes that on fleet customers. If i considered an ecoboost the 2.7 wouldn’t even be on the table they are not a good powertrain, it would have to be a 3.5. Not to mention the 2.7 gets that nasty smoker rasp on startup.

Chill out guys, he was replying to a former poster asking him if it was still under warranty. The poster's handle begins with "1997". Not rocket science
Sorry fellas. I've been out of the loop. Yes. I was replying to the poster. LOL. That's a very interesting read about the catch cans. I will have to dive into that a little further. This is my first ecoboost and so far I love it. I will definitely be switching to full synthetic at the next oil change. I am a firm believer in synthetics even for my diesel. I appreciate all the advice. I was at thanksgiving yesterday with all my cousins with tahoes and suburbans. It was a hoot. They couldn't believe the bells and whistles and when I told them all the price, they about fell out (as compared to similar GM products) HAHAHA I think I'm liking this Ford thing.

It used to be even more so. Now new fords are generally more than GM so the bang for your buck factor is starting to reverse.
