Then go buy one and stop trolling.

Who would buy a chevy? Also the suburban is having problems with the roof oil canning and creating bad pressure in the cab.... I’d rather seal some cracks a few years down the road than drive with my ear drums screeching for years on end.

Guys, got an update for you. Sorry I haven't posted sooner but work has kept me busy as of late. Anyway, I got a call from the Ford dealership's body shop and he confirmed they are going to repair the cracks. I asked how they will make the repair and he said they will replace the sealant in that area, respray and clear over. He said it is the only way to do it right and not have problems later. I then made a comment that it was nice to see Ford take care of this and he said they are not, the dealer ship is going to pay for the repair as the warranty has just expired. I thought I had a few more months but I was mistaken. (Keep in mind I found these cracks just a few weeks after we purchased it). Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised they would do this but that is the kind of dealership this is. The body shop manager did say this is the kind of stuff the owner of the dealership does. In fact when I brought it in for an oil change, the owner gave me a free one, instead of me waiting for them to change the oil he gave me an Explorer he had on the lot to got to work in. Crazy, never seen anything like this before. He certainly has one me over and has a repeat customer. The dealership is Gene Lewis http://genelewisford.net/

Jon, did you ever take any pictures? I would love to see exactly what you saw.

Glad they took care of you and that is good business on their part. I looked at my roof no cracking (yet) after ten years. Knock on wood.

Hi Andy, I have posted the pictures on the original post and I can see them. Not sure why you cannot see or what I did wrong. I posted from Google photos by pasting the image link in the post. When I posted the pictures I can see them but it looks like others cannot. How do you post picture?

Jon you may have to turn on allow sharing in Google photos. If you use the little picture button in the ribbon above beside the smiley face and the movie clip you can paste your URL there and it should show up in the body of the thread.

You can also upload them from your computer by clicking the Upload a File button in the middle of the three buttons in the lower right hand side of the screen when posting a new comment. It will allow you to select up to five pictures to post. Once you tell them to upload, select full size and we'll see the full size picture without having to click on it.

Do any of you guys use Tapatalk? It makes this forum effortless. And Photo posting is a breeze.

I do but only if I'm away from my computer or tablet. Usually I'm near or in front of the computer so I just use the browser.

I am curious too where these seam cracks are. I cannot see any photos in the original post. Just boxes where the images should be, but not active.
I can't see them either. I think I know what they look like but I would like to see the OP's pictures. I think he has to turn on sharing in Google Photo for us to see them.
