I had a new fuel pump installed 2 to 3 months ago. Sending unit had an issue saying I had 1/4 tank less than I did, so I had it replaced. Haven't had any issues till this one weird one. Hopefully a one time thing, but I didn't lose power, just got the icon. Haven't had it for 100 miles now, so who knows why...

It could be the transmission ... that was my experience when my Mountaineer hit$150K miles a few years back. Usually red warning lights are serious and yellow are just warnings
