I bought a 08 Expedition about a month ago and am working through a few of the little issues it has. Next up is the driver seat. It does not have any horizontal movement. I have looked at it and it doesn't look too difficult to replace. I have the replacement motor already I just wanted to see if any of you have experience replacing this motor and could give me some tips. Also what size torx bit is required to unbolt the seat?

Thanks!

T50 or T55 for seats iiirc.... just get a cheapie set of torx T5-T60 if you plan on keeping the truck for a while and don't like paying people serious money to fix little issues, there's a LOT of stuff Ford uses torx for

It's a t55, and don't buy a cheapie. Torx bolts strip out even with a quality torx socket. Be sure before you swap out motor you test switch thoroughly. Power, continuity, ground.
