Only reason I got it for was to disable the bulb out indicator hyperflash when I did my led conversion. There is a Forscan thread that has a ton of direction as to what values to change in the bcm’s and @ExpeditionAndy and @LokiWolf are both excellent people to direct questions to. Take a look at that thread and you’ll find everything you posted about

Yeah. I’ve actually been through that whole thread. I just don’t want to brick anything so was hoping someone local could just knock out the few changes I’d like and then I’d never worry about it again.

If you stick with what’s already proven to work, there’s not much risk of bricking it.
Once you wander off the beaten path and start looking for things that haven’t been confirmed is when the risk starts. But even that has been shown to be minimal for the most part.

It is indeed easy, but I completely understand the desire to just have someone make the changes and not have to invest time learning the software, joining the forum, requesting a license, downloading the software, buying the ODB reader etc etc. if I were closer to you, I’d do it for free. If you get up to Indiana, let me know, and I’ll fix you up :)
