Andy, back around CES Ford announced this will be possible in the ‘coming weeks’. But still no dice. It will require Sync3 v3.xx which has not been officially released to my knowledge. Hopefully very soon. For now I believe v2.3 is the current version available.

Also, Waze has not released the version that will work with Applink yet.

I am running 3.0 (build 276). It has a few glitches, and is a prerelease. I am not aware of any units shipping with 3.0. Looked at a 2018 the other day, and it had 2.3.
Okay thanks for the Info. I wonder if Ford will ever make 3.0 available to all of us.

So back to the running board retract delay, I could be wrong, but my research is suggesting that since these are AMP boards, the AMP controller dictates the retract delay not our trucks BCM. You can actually purchase aftermarket AMP controllers to add I think a 4 second delay to them. Here’s a link. Someone can do more research on this as I’m happy with my retract timing, but I thought I’d at least throw in this data point:

It didn't look like those were compatible with the Expedition. Although with the manual switch those that want to drive around with their running boards deployed, that could do that with this control. :)
