I'm assuming your vehicle is 2003-2006, as that's the section you posted. No matter. The 2 biggest issues members had stopping or slowing hot heat from entering cab of Suv are plugged heater cores, and stripped out blender doors. Feel both hoses entering and exiting front core, they both should be hot. Second crawl under heat plenum box and be sure no carpet is blocking blender doors, or that the controls are opening and closing the doors themselves. If you have the automatic temp control setup, cracked/broken vacuum lines cause all kinds of headaches. Reach out with follow-ups.
